Nissei Corporation
Nissei Corporation ("the Company") has adopted the following policies regarding handling of personal information:
1. Observation of laws and statutes related to personal information
The Company shall observe all laws, statues, and accepted standards related to handling personal information and protecting the confidentiality thereof.
2. Purposes for which acquired personal information is used
The Company shall make use of personal information acquired from customers for the following purposes:
1. Personal information pertaining to customers
- To provide information related to products and services in the manufacture of power transmission equipment
- To make reports and to contact and consult with customers in the course of fulfilling contracts
(For the second purpose listed above, the Company may provide company names, employee names, and telephone numbers either orally or in writing to contractors, suppliers, and other business partners, to the extent that such activity is recognized as reasonable in the pursuit of that purpose. The Company will stop providing such information to third parties without delay if so requested by the individual in question.)
2. Personal information pertaining to shareholders
- To exercise rights and fulfill obligations in accordance with commercial law
- To extend conveniences to its shareholders as the issuing company
- To implement policies designed to smooth the relationship between the Company and its shareholders from the perspective of an association and its members
- For purposes of shareholder management, for example in the creation of shareholder data based on standards defined in accordance with relevant laws and statutes
3. Personal information pertaining to apartment tenants
For purposes of contract management for apartments owned by the Company
4. Personal information submitted in response to job recruitment activities
For purposes of employment and to contact applicants to accept or deny their applications
5. Other personal information
To make reports and to contact and consult outside individuals as necessary in the course of the Company's business
3. Use and collection of information
Personal information acquired by the Company shall not be used for any purpose other than those listed above.
The collection of personal information shall be limited to the extent necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it is to be used.
4. Protection and management of personal information
The Company shall establish a set of regulations designed to protect the confidentiality of personal information by defining policies to ensure the safe management of personal information and providing for the conduct of employee training. Personal information shall be handled in an appropriate manner in accordance with these regulations.
5. Use of cookies
Cookies are used to enable efficient use of the Internet by recording small amounts of information sent by the web server to the user's browser in the form of files on the user's hard disk in order. The Company does not use cookies in combination with information that can be used to identify individual users. Users can configure their browser's settings to disable cookies if they so desire.
6. SSL
SSL refers to Secure Socket Layer, a technology used to encrypt communications between the user's browser and the server in order to ensure their security. Information entered by the user on the Website is sent using SSL. SSL is automatically enabled by default on browsers that support it (Internet Explorer, etc.) and requires no special settings.
7. Improvements and modifications to this policy
The Company is committed to the ongoing improvement of this policy. The Company may change the policy to reflect changes to relevant laws and statutes.
